The Tudors are pleased to announce the signing of young defender Ben Tompkins following his most recent spell with newly promoted National League side Braintree Town.
The 19-year-old centre-back joins Bobby Wilkinson's side on the back of a promotion winning season with The Iron, where he featured 37 times, and was a crucial asset to the at the time, National League South Side.
Whilst only being on loan at Braintree from Luton Town, Tompkins spent four years with the Hatters featuring in both their U21 & U18s setup. During his time at Luton, the young defender had two loan spells, at Braintree and Bedford Town.
An aggressive, promising talent, we're thrilled Ben is a Tudor and we look forward to working with him this forthcoming season.
