We have been working with streaming provider InPlayer to help provide us with a live streaming service for our home games. We have been carrying out some tests at the club this evening and we are pleased to report that they have been successful. Tomorrow we will finalise the technical logistics of the service and will provide a further update tomorrow evening.
Season Ticket Holders
If you are an existing season ticket holder, you will be able to watch the stream free of charge. You will be sent a code in which you can then access the game. We will use the email address you provided when you renewed your season ticket. If this has changed, please email secretary Dean Chance - secretary@hemelfc.com
How can you access a the stream?
By Friday afternoon, we will have a dedicated page on our website in which you can access the stream. You'll be able to access this straight from the home page
How much will the stream cost?
The stream will be £7.50 per user per match
What is the best way to watch the stream?
To get the best service, we recommend using a laptop/desktop computer with a wifi or hard wired internet connection. Devices that use 4G connection may not receive the best connection to be able to stream the game
Will there be audio commentary via Tudor Talk/Mixlr?
Unfortunately Jack C and Jack D will be providing the commentary for the stream and to ensure this service runs as smoothly as possible, we aren't in a position to run both at this time
Like many other clubs in our leagues, this is completely new territory for us. At Hemel Hempstead Town FC, we are lucky to have a dedicated group of people who are determined to ensure our media output is of the highest quality, many of whom are volunteers. Throughout this week, we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure our stream is the best it can be. Please bear with us whilst we try to find out feet with the resources at our disposal.
Please note: Following announcements from the National League and the Government, fans should not attend the game as this is a behind closed doors game. Whilst we would love you have our supporters with us, it's important that this is observed
