The Tudors travelled to Westwood Road to compete in their first pre-season game of the season. Lee Bircham's new look side performed in front of fans after 6 months away with some of The Tudor army making the trip to Cambridgeshire. It was a strong starting XI in the first half with a number of summer signings on show with the second half mostly of trialists.
Despite a couple of good chances from JJ Lacey and a goal-line clearance mid-way through the second half, The Tudors were unable to break the deadlock. The game was overshadowed early on when Luke Howell had to come off with an injury that is likely to keep him out for a few weeks.
Our hosts were extremely hospitable and we would like to wish them the very best for the season ahead.
