SPOT THE BALL COMPETITION TO SUPPORT MENTAL HEALTH CHARITY

The Tudors Supporters Club’s associated fitness initiative Community Kickabout continues to grow and run popular Over 30's Football sessions at Vauxhall Road every Monday night.

The upcoming 9th May 2022 session coincides with Mental Health awareness week. As the TSC has received grateful support from mental health charity The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) through their Caring United campaign, for the 9th May session participation fees will be increased to £10 for one week only with all proceeds donated to CALM.

The TSC is also running a Spot the Ball competition to hopefully generate more funds. The winner can choose from a selection of gift cards (Amazon, Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, etc) amounting to 10% of the raised funds. To enter the competition, please visit www.communitykickabout.org/charity This is the fourth charity fundraising initiative organised by the Tudors Supporters Club through Community Kickabout.

The TSC donated £170 to Dacorum homeless people charity DENS, after the funds were raised by Community Kickabout participants for the 21st December 2020 session.

They also raised funds for Mind in Herts via our Community Walkabout lockdown fitness initiative, which encouraged local people to get active.

Hertfordshire Mind Network delivers essential mental health support in Hertfordshire, providing a diverse range of services from seven Wellbeing Centres and other venues across all ten districts of the county – the £100 target was exceeded.

The TSC raised funds for Mind in Herts again in December 2021, once again donating the participant fees for "Christmas Kickabout" which on this occasion totalled £230. The TSC rounded this up to £250 when they made the donation to Mind.
