Opposition Focus | Worthing FC

We return to the Focus Community Arena for our second home fixture of the season, as we take on last season's Play-Off finalists, Worthing FC.

Founded: 1886

Nickname: The Rebels

Stadium: Sussex Transport Community Stadium

Stadium Capacity: 3,250

Manager: Chris Agutter

The Tudors look to continue positive form going into this fixture, following back to back victories last Saturday and Monday against Weymouth and Aveley respectively.

The visitors travel to the Focus following a 2-2 draw at Clarence Park against St Albans.

Worthing Football Club joined the National League South in the 2022/23 season following their Isthmian Premier Division title win in the 2021/22 campaign. The Rebels have had success throughout their stint in the National League South so far, going as far as reaching the Play-Off Final last season. Which saw a heartbreaking defeat for the south coast outfit in extra time, as Braintree's Reggie Lambe scored an 108' minute winner to see the Iron promoted to the National League and the Rebels having to prepare for another season in the sixth tier.

Last Time Out:

In the last meeting between The Rebels and The Tudors, goals from George Williams and Tarrelle Whittaker saw us seal a 2-0 victory at the Focus Community Arena on the 23rd of December.
