Opposition Focus | Weymouth FC

Away days, are back! What better way to kick-start our season travels, than a trip to the South Coast this Saturday to take on Weymouth FC. Let's take a closer look into tomorrow's opponents!

Founded: 1890

Nickname: The Terras Stadium: The Bob Lucas Stadium Stadium Capacity: 6,600

Manager: Mark Molesley

So then, a visit to Dorset for our first away fixture of the 2024/25 campaign. The Tudors go to The Bob Lucas Stadium, on the back of a 2-2 draw with newly promoted Salisbury FC, coming from two goals behind to grab a point on the opening day. On the other hand, tomorrow's opponents go into their third consecutive season in the National League South, following relegation from the National League back in 2021/22. In their opening game, The Terras were faced with a trip to Kent to take on Tonbridge Angels, falling to a narrow 3-2 loss on the road.

Going into our fifthteenth matchup against The Terras, our first meeting dates back to 2011 where Weymouth took all three points, in a close 0-1 defeat. Since that meeting 13 years ago, the two sides have played each other 14 times in all competitions, with 6 wins being recorded for both sides.

In our most recent meeting, tomorrow's hosts secured all three points in a seven goal thriller back in February of last season. Goals from Keelan O'Connell, Brandon Goodship, Ezio Touray & Malachi Linton, who the club most noticeably signed on a permanent basis from Yeovil Town in the summer, secured the three points for The Terras in a 4-3 loss.

With both sides looking to record their first win of the season, let's get back out on the road and support Bobby Wilkinson's Tudors in our second fixture of the season!
