Opportunity: Boardroom Staff

Are you passionate about football and eager to be a part of the vibrant hospitality scene at your local football club? Hemel Hempstead Town FC is looking for charismatic and dedicated boardroom staff to join our team and make matchdays an unforgettable experience for our esteemed guests and officials.

Role Summary: As boardroom staff you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the matchday experience for our club's guests, officials, and delegates. Your warm and welcoming personality will be the first impression they encounter as you meet and greet them at The Focus Community Arena. Your primary responsibilities will include serving a selection of drinks and hot food, ensuring our boardroom experience exceeds all expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet club guests, officials, visitors, and match delegates with a friendly and professional demeanor.

  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all visitors feel valued and attended to throughout their time in the boardroom.

  • Serve a variety of beverages and delectable hot food, enhancing the hospitality experience for our guests.

  • Collaborate with the matchday hospitality team to ensure seamless coordination of services and maintain high standards.

  • Assist with event setup and cleanup to ensure the boardroom is always presentable and welcoming.

  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines while handling food and beverages.

Requirements

  • Availability to attend home games on Saturdays (mostly every other week - fixtures depending) and some Tuesday evenings (fixtures depending).

  • Availability required from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturdays and 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM on Tuesdays, but hours will be agreed on appointment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

  • A passion for providing exceptional hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests.

  • Ability to work in a busy environment and maintain composure under pressure.

  • Previous experience in the hospitality sector is beneficial but not mandatory; we welcome individuals looking to gain experience in the field.

  • Residing locally and have a genuine interest in getting involved in the local football community would be desirable.
