The Tudors extended their unbeaten start to the season by grabbing another three away points at Enfield Town but they left it very late in a tight game with both sets of players feeling the effects of two fixtures in three days.
Hemel Boss Bobby Wilkinson had to reshuffle his pack with three players sustaining injuries on Saturday, in came Sydney Ibie, Alfie Cerulli and there was a debut for Akai Woolard-Innocent who was very impressive, slotting in at left wing back.
There were early chances at both ends, Craig King made a smart save down at the foot of the post before Ibie and George Williams both saw shots deflected over the bar.

King had to react at the back post again when ex Tudor Owusu found himself in space, he completely missed the ball with his first swing of his foot but was given a second chance that the Hemel goalminder saved well.
Alfie Cerulli was put through the middle by George Williams but he was quickly closed down and his shot was saved by the keeper.
Kai Woollard-Innocent came the closest to breaking the deadlock when he curled a freekick round the wall, it looked to be heading for the bottom corner but it smashed off the post with the keeper beaten before being cleared.
Hemel finished the half on top but it remained goalless at the break.
The second half was a very even affair with the heat and effects of two games in quick succession taking its toll. Both sides made use of their bench but it looked as though the game was drifting to a stalemate with chances few and far between
The referee announced that there would be seven minutes of injury time and Enfield almost grabbed the winner as the clock ticked down but Kyle Ajayi cleared the cross with a Town player waiting to bury the chance.
Then with 94 minutes gone the excellent Woolard-Innocent drove to the byline before laying the ball back to Trae Cook-Appiah who cut back onto his right foot before tucking it home via the post to grab the points for The Tudors.

The large contingent of Hemel fans celebrated with the players at the end of the game and the excellent start continues. Manager Bobby Wilkinson said that he didn’t feel his side played particularly well on the day but after the heartbreak of conceding a late equalizer on Saturday, the tables were turned and was testimony to his teams efforts despite a slightly below par performance.
