A SUPPORTERS GUIDE TO | Eastbourne Borough

The Tudor army are on their travels once more this weekend, making the trip down to the South Coast to take on Eastbourne Borough. Be prepared, and get to know the surrounding areas, and other useful matchday information in this supporters guide!

Travel Links:

By Car - Dependant on traffic, if making the journey to the Reach TV Stadium by car, this should approximately take 2 hours 30 minutes, that's not including a service station stop! When looking at routes to take, it's advised to join the M25 from Abbots Langley before coming off at Merstham and taking the M23 to Crawley. From here, a 50 minute journey along both the A23 & A27 will take you to our away day destination!

Parking - Parking around the ground will not be an issue for travelling supporters. There are two options to park your vehicle, either in the large River End car park, or the smaller Priory Lane car park. Please note, it is advised that supporters should not park their vehicles on Priory Road or other surrounding roads.

Train - If choosing to travel by train, you might've noticed there are rail strikes preventing direct travel to Eastbourne. BUT... do not fear. If still looking to travel by train, the easiest route to take will be a train to London Euston from Hemel. From here a short trip on the tube (Northern Line) to Charing Cross will set you up for an hour and a half journey to St Leonards Warrior Square. From here, a short train journey to Pevensey & Westham will get you approximately a 20 minute walk to the stadium. All in all, this journey will take just shy of 3 hours 30 minutes.

Taxi - Note that uber and a handful of taxi companies are available to order from Pevensey & Westham train station.

Got time for one or two?

Public Houses - The nearest pub to the Reach TV Stadium, is the Martello Inn. Roughly a 15 minute walk to the ground, the Martello Inn shows live sport and has a pool table if you fancy some pre-match activities! Another option which is a little further away from the ground, is The Kingfisher Tavern which also provides live sports, and live music.

Food around the ground - Looking for some pre-match food options? If you can't wait for some footy scran in the ground, make sure to visit Churchill's Fish & Chips, just a matter of minutes from The Kingfisher Tavern.

By the Seaside

If you fancy relying on the weather and taking a dip in the sea, Eastbourne beach is around a 45 minute walk from the Reach TV Stadium. Furthermore, if you're looking for some pre-game attractions to go on, Eastbourne Pier is also roughly an hour away from the stadium.
